Jason Tanner is the CEO of Applied Frameworks. His passion is coaching people in organizations to develop products that customers love.

In addition to teaching in-person courses in Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner, Jason and fellow Certified Scrum Trainer Carlton Nettleton co-created the world’s only online, on-demand training system for advanced scrum training.

Jason has led Agile transformations at several Fortune 500 organizations, including recent engagements with MassMutual, Capital One, and CoStar Group. In addition to large-scale transformations, Jason regularly leads projects focused on product innovation and portfolio management.

After studying engineering at Cornell, Jason served for nine years as a Marine Corps officer. He then went on to a career in telecommunications and software development as a project engineer and product manager. Later Jason earned his MBA at Duke.

As a Certified Scrum Trainer and Certified Scrum@Scale Trainer, Jason has coached thousands of Agile practitioners around the world.

He received an engineering degree from Cornell and an MBA from Duke. Jason is a Certified Scrum Trainer, Certified Scrum at Scale Trainer, and Certified Conteneo Collaboration Instructor. When he’s not working, he likes to exercise, read and watch his two kids play sports.
